The sixth Chemical Northwest Awards dinner took place on 10th March 2016 at the Hilton Manchester Deansgate.
The Awards were open to Chemicals Northwest Members and non-member organisations. Once again we had record numbers of entries, beating our total from last year by over 30% more entrants.
The evening’s award trophies were again the result of collaboration between Chemicals Northwest and academic member, Wirral Metropolitan College. For the past four years the BA Fine Art students at Wirral Metropolitan College, had been invited to design the trophies for the Chemicals Northwest Annual Awards. Special thanks also go to Solvay Interox Ltd who sponsored the award trophies.
The introduction of a new ‘Supplier to the Chemical Industry’ award proved a very popular move with a significant number of entries. It meant the slight re-configuration of the programme that saw two additional sub-categories. None the less our winner surely deserves this major accolade.
