The Engineering College has recognised two of our future engineers with its latest 2016 ECITB apprenticeship awards.
The Annual Apprentice awards mark a special moment in the year when we reflect on some of the finest achievements of our students and training force,. Our congratulations go out to all the winners and runners up.
Held at its Birkenhead base, Mark Palios, (former FA chief executive, now Tranmere Rovers executive chairman) presented the awards to:
ECITB Development Stage Award (Sponsored by ECITB)
James Erskine Low was the winner of this award. James has shown outstanding dedication to achieving his apprenticeship. He has shown commitment to both his own personal development and to his progression, a positive attitude to his work and excellent practical capabilities.
ECITB Foundation Stage Award 2016 (sponsored by ECITB)
Mathew Harold was the winner of this award. Mathew shows promising practical skills and has an understanding of the general theory behind different Engineering Disciplines. Matthew also has a good level of respect towards Health & Safety.  In 2015, Matthew won the ‘Learner of the Schools Programme’ award.
