As we approach the end of the year, it’s the perfect time to reflect on the incredible journey we’ve had in supporting charities throughout the year. Our commitment to making a positive impact in the lives of those in need has been unwavering, and we’re thrilled to share the highlights of our fundraising efforts.
Climbing Snowdon at Sunset:
Earlier this year, our team embarked on a daring adventure to climb Snowdon, standing tall in support of Henshaws. With the setting sun as our backdrop, our dedicated group of 14 conquered the mountain, symbolising the challenges faced by those living with sight loss and disabilities. The funds raised went towards helping individuals achieve their goals and live independent lives through the invaluable work of Henshaws.
London Marathon Hero:
On a Sunday to remember, Alan Kennedy took on the prestigious London Marathon, running with heart and purpose for Claire House Children’s Hospice. Alan’s dedication and determination shone brightly as he raced through the streets of London, raising funds for the vital care and support provided by Claire House to seriously and terminally ill children and their families in the North West of England.
Golf Days and More:
In addition to our mountainous and marathon endeavours, we also hosted Golf Days that brought our community together for a day of camaraderie and friendly competition—all in the spirit of giving back. These events not only raised funds but also strengthened the bonds within our company, showcasing the power of unity in creating positive change.
Gratitude for Your Support:
We want to express our heartfelt gratitude to everyone who contributed to our fundraising initiatives throughout the year. Your support has been instrumental in making a real difference in the lives of those facing immense challenges. Together, we’ve proven that when a community comes together with passion and purpose, incredible things can happen.
This Christmas, we have once again donated £1,000 each to 3 different charities on behalf of our Employees. We held a vote to decide on which charities touched the hearts of Studley and the results are as follows:
- Cash 4 Kids – we donated £1,000 to help buy Christmas presents for local children.
- Knowsley Food Bank – We delivered a quarter of a tonne of food and supplies to Knowsley Food Bank!
- Sean’s Place – A £1,000 donation was made to help this fantastic local men’s mental health charity to provide much needed support.
As we turn the page on this chapter of our fundraising journey, we remain committed to making a lasting impact in the coming year. Stay tuned for exciting new initiatives and opportunities to continue making a positive difference in the lives of others.
Thank you for being an essential part of our journey. Here’s to a year of triumphs and the promise of a brighter, more compassionate future.
